Exploring Paris

There's no denying that our apartment is pretty teeny-tiny. However, for all the space we've lost, we've gained so much time! We have SO much more time! Keeping on top of the house (DIY, cleaning etc) used to take up a large percentage of our weekend and so it feels as though we've gained a whole extra day in our weeks. Having all this extra time is wonderful as we're really getting to explore our new city. On Friday, we picked up the kids from school and went straight out exploring. We wandered through the 4eme, found an awesome playground and ended the evening at a snug pizzeria which did the most incredible tiramisu! On Saturday, we went exploring again-this time into the Marais and finally on Sunday (once we'd been reunited with Albi) we followed the river right down to Bercy. 

We have a crazy week ahead (Sam is travelling, I start my French classes, the kids have Saturday school) but after such a lovely weekend, I'm feeling ready to take on Monday!
