Start of Summer '24

There are SO many things I loved about having little kids: the snuggles, the funny mispronunciations and the sheer cuteness. However, I said to Sam at the end of summer, that I cannot believe how much fun it is to have a teen and tween. In the mornings, they would sleep in while I worked out and then I got home, we would just go out and have so much fun. We played tennis, swam in the lake, went kayaking in the Bos etc. We were blessed with some beautiful weather which also helped!

At the start of summer, mum kindly came over to have the kids while Sam and I went to Roland Garros for the French Open. It was such a dream come true and we had the most amazing time.

When we got back, we did the Mudmasters 6km which was hilarious. Poor Harry had a cold in the run-up and I'm not convinced jumping into icy water and crawling through mud helped but he was an absolute trooper!

Once school wrapped up, we went straight to Rome. We'd actually booked to go in 2020 but it kept getting pushed due to Covid. I'm so glad we finally made it and we had a really wonderful trip. Highlights were the cooking class and food tour!
